Epic Games is looking for full-time QA Lead on our Online Publishing Platform team. The person in this role will be able to not only maintain current QA team processes for multiple projects but will also be able to improve upon these processes where needed. If you are comfortable in a fast paced environment and have the desire to lead a strong test-focused team, then we would like to talk to you.

 The person in this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Owning major test initiatives by writing test plans and collaborating across multiple teams

  • Identifying major risks in a high paced environment

  • Ensuring that Automation efforts are moving forward effectively and efficiently

  • Implementing KPIs for product quality

  • Improving overall QA coverage along all products through efficient testing and planning

  • Growing team through hiring, mentoring, and training

  • Improving team process through feedback

 The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below: 

  • Exceptional understanding of quality coverage and automated testing frameworks for web

  • Extensive experience reviewing requirements and creating test plans W/ automation in mind.

  • Experience designing and writing automated test scripts

  • Understanding of Load Testing in a high CCU environment

  • A deep understanding of defect reporting, version control and configuration management best practices, along with different testing phase best practices and objectives (functional, system integration, UAT, performance)

  • Experience working with remote teams and remote direct reports
  • Technical Background - not just a person leader
  • Worked with Automation and lead automation engineers
  • Worked on several high traffic websites or platforms
