Epic is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Community Lead to connect our fans with the teams who are launching Paragon and Fortnite. The ideal candidate will have experience engaging online communities across different platforms from social (think Twitter and Facebook) to gamer focused media like Twitch. If you're a passionate gamer with a strong track record of managing communities, we'd love to talk.

The person in this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Planning and executing locally relevant community strategy that excites and engages players in Europe

  • Generating compelling content and engaging in meaningful interactions with players both on- and offline

  • Providing feedback to game teams on the community’s general sentiment, new ideas and top concerns

  • Hosting and promoting both small and large tournaments aimed at exciting participants and spectators alike

  • Identifying and building productive long-term relationships with key influencers across a variety of online platforms

  • Helping create the foundation of Epic in Europe by building and managing a team of world-class community coordinators


The ideal candidate will have the qualifications below:

  • Experience working in a player-facing role or as an influencer for 2 or more years and have solid experience in building and managing a community preferably across multiple game genres

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and one of the following languages: German, French or Spanish both written and verbally and you are the master of all the relevant communications platforms

  • Experience with different types of content creation, especially video, and you know how to use content to drive awesome engagement

  • Understanding of local player characteristics and how these differ between regions and countries

  • You love Mondays, hard-work and approach problem solving with a “can do attitude”
