The person in this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Focus on working with the education community throughout North America
  • A focus on cultivating new relationships with educational institutions and maintaining existing relationships aimed at building Unreal Engine adoption
  • A focus on cultivating new relationships with educators and maintaining existing relationships aimed at building Unreal Engine adoption in the classroom
  • Maintain the Unreal Engine Academics Partners Program and look for new areas of engagement and growth
  • Help find and support educational institutions using the Unreal Engine on research projects
  • Help support and coordinate educational Unreal Engine game jams and events
  • Help support and coordinate Unreal Engine marketing events where education is a focus
  • Help as another internal point of contact and Unreal Engine trainer for educators and student
  • Assist in the development of Unreal Engine training content  

 The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below:

  • High level of proficiency using and teaching Unreal Engine
  • Experience in an academic setting teaching game development
  • Experience in a professional game development setting ideally in a technical specialty
  • A passion for education and technology
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Online instruction design skills are a plus
  • Experience with public speaking
  • Proactive, outgoing personality that feels comfortable in a customer-facing role
  • Willing to travel throughout North America
