Epic is looking for a full-time Quality Assurance Director to oversee QA Teams across all of our Games (Paragon, Fortnite, SpyJinx, Battle Breakers and Unreal Tournament). The person in this role will work across these teams to ensure we have the best in class processes and people to support the games we build. The person in this role will be responsible for the following:
Effectively leading and mentoring the QA leadership teams across all of our game properties
Building best practices across the various game teams and ensuring those teams are sharing best practices as needed
Developing relationships to better understand different teams’ priorities and responsibilities
Providing guidance across the QA organization on how to structure teams in an effective manner
Working with the engineering department and QA engineering to drive automated regression testing
The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below:
Experience managing large QA teams
The ability to influence various groups in an effort to get things done
A love of games, game tech and a passion for ensuring the products you work on ship to the highest level of quality possible
Proficiency working in Live Game operations or at minimum Live Operations of a service operating at scale
Proven track record working with technical QA people (QA Engineer’s, SDET’s etc.)
Built and managed teams at scale across multiple projects
Strong oral and written communication skills
