As a Senior Product Manager at Epic, you will be a part of collaborative teams working on new and emerging IP in a player-focused environment. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and is excited to use creative and analytical skills to partner with Production team members.
The person in this role will be responsible for the following:
Collaborate closely with Producers and Game Designers to define the product vision and strategy
Work closely with Producers, Game Designers, and Engineers to define, launch and optimize a feature roadmap and live operations strategy
Create dashboards to monitor key acquisition, retention, engagement and monetization metrics; provide regular updates to studio and team leadership
Answer design and business questions through in-depth data analysis using SQL, Excel, and other business intelligence tools
Leverage analytical tools such as A/B testing and user testing to identify improvements to existing gameplay loops as well as new feature, content, and event ideas
Monitor performance of in-game events to define best practices and identify optimization opportunities
Partner with User Acquisition and Marketing teams to drive installs and re-engage lapsed players
Develop a deep understanding of trends in the gaming industry through the monitoring of market data and evaluation of top titles
The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below:
Extensive experience with free-to-play retention and monetization principles and mechanics
Demonstrated ability to integrate and constructively contribute to a collaborative team environment
Results driven personality who is self-motivated to consistently deliver high quality work
Experience gathering, analyzing and communicating large data-sets to make actionable insights; Excel and SQL experience is required
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Experience writing project plans and product specification documents
3+ years in a relevant product management role; experience on a new game launch or live game title a big plus
