Capture Support/Tech Artist

Epic Games is searching for an experienced Capture Support/Tech Artist to not only provide material creation and level work but also master Unreal Engine tools in the work. 

The person in this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Material creation - Making materials for characters, environment assets, effects etc, anything that is overly complex or technical
  • Level Work – Work on the level/map to add/tune objects, fog, lighting, color grading and fx
  • Tool mastering  - Master the tools in the engine such as sequencer to work on various content production
  • Content creation - Sometimes new art assets are required to get the job done, modeling and texturing skill is needed

The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below:

  • Advanced 3DSMax or Maya experience
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine
  • Scripting and plug-in writing skills with 3DSMax/Maya plus Python or C++ is a plus
  • Experience with various software packages including Photoshop, Zbrush/Mudbox

  • 如有脚本编辑,Max/Maya插件编写能力,或Python C++ 能力优先
