Epic Games is looking for a Technical Account Manager for our Unreal Engine licensing team in China. If you consider yourself to be a high performing, proficient user of the Unreal Engine, especially in the businesses of architecture simulation, animation, movie, car design, etc. and you are passionate about working with others then we’d love to hear from you!

The person in this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist with Unreal Engine license efforts including but not limited to live Unreal Engine demonstrations, arranging evaluations, providing pre- and post-license technical support, evangelizing Unreal Engine at trade shows
  • Continually grow own knowledge of the engine and tools to provide effective recommendations and guidance to the team and our customers
  • Identify bottlenecks and limitations in the pipeline and tools and document improvement recommendations
  • Compose papers for conferences, publications and marketing and having the ability to present at events

The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below:

  • Having a keen analytical mind with strong problem solving skills
  • Having existing experience with Unreal Engine
  • Being self-starter – takes ownership of the technical relationship with developers and works proactively to set up systems to smooth the road from eval to license
  • Detail oriented with strong communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated thought leader in field of expertise (online presence, involvement in significant projects, awards and prizes, etc…)
  • Ability to identify and solve any problems clients may experience with Unreal Engine
  • Willing to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Able to communicate complex technical issues via email or face to face
  • Experienced of shipping console, PC, or mobile, title experience is a plus




  • 协助虚化引擎的授权工作,包括但不限于向客户演示引擎的应用,安排项目评估,提供授权前后的技术支持,在各类展会及活动中宣传虚幻引擎
  • 持续学习引擎及工具的各种相关知识,为团队以及客户提供及时有效的介绍及指导
  • 指出并定义工作流程及工具的瓶颈和局限,为技术文档的优化提供建议
  • 各种会议、出版物以及市场活动撰写相关文章,并且在活动中做演讲


  • 拥有很强的分析能力以及解决问题的能力
  • 熟练使用虚幻引擎
  • 做事主动 主动与开发者建立技术支持关系,主动建立一整套流程以便顺利地评估项目并授权引擎
  • 注重细节,有很强的口头及书面表达能力
  • 在专业的领域内有一定的影响力(比如是相关技术的网络达人,参与过一些重大项目,获得过一些业内知名奖项等)
  • 有能力定义并解决客户在使用虚幻引擎过程中遇到的各种问题
  • 可以接受30%的工作时间在其他城市出差
  • 能够当面或以邮件形式沟通复杂的技术问题
  • 有上线的客户端、主机或手机游戏作品工作经验的优先
